This guide is designed to help you study and prepare for both the written and clinical skills portions of the exam. It will also provide valuable information regarding testing policies, procedures and what to expect on the day of the exam.

Individuals looking to take the exam for the first time MUST have received an Authorization to Test letter from the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation to register for the competency exams with Excel Testing. You must register for both written and skills, along with uploading the Authorization to Test letter you received from the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation to your Excel Testing portal made during the registration process.
